On this edition of Deal of the Day, Cam Edwards shares a story from Kansas City where the trial over the robbery/homicide of Brandon Fauntleroy-McDowel, a 25-year-old graduate student who had stopped to clean out his car after work, has just concluded. JaNae Haygood, 24, was given only probation since she was offered a plea agreement to testify against the man believed to have pulled the trigger: Marlan Epps, 21. Haygood, however, did not actually testify against Epps and he was acquitted. Haygood still got the plea deal, however, and will serve no jail time. Originally aired 3/21/2011.
