Currently the state of Wisconsin is one of only two states that prohibits concealed carry entirely. To rectify the issue, the 2011 Wisconsin Personal Protection Act has been introduced, including two bills that would allow citizens the right to carry concealed firearms. One is a "permitless carry" bill that simply eliminates the prohibition on concealed carry for law-abiding citizens legally allowed to own a gun. The second is a "shall-issue" license bill for permitted carry. Cam Edwards speaks with Wisconsin State Senator Pam Galloway who says citizens should contact their lawmakers to support these bills today. Originally aired 5/6/2011.
