NRA-ILA Wisconsin State Liaison Jordan Austin tells Cam Edwards about several dangerous bills put forward in the state legislature. Assembly Bill 558 would expand the state's parameters for what constitutes domestic abuse, already much wider than federal standards, and increase the number of people potentially stripped of their Second Amendment rights. A companion piece of legislation, Assembly Hill 599, would require anyone subject to a protective order to reveal the firearms in their possession, violating their Fifth Amendment right to avoid self-incrimination, and a new bill just introduced would add animal-abuse cases to the category of domestic violence. Assembly Bill 737 would create new levels of hunting licenses in a misguided attempt to prevent felons from purchasing them. The one good point is Assembly Bill 193 to support the Castle Doctrine.
