NRA-ILA Wisconsin State Liaison Jordan Austin tells Cam Edwards that although domestic violence, animal cruelty and hunting license bills that would have trampled on gun rights passed in the Assembly, there is a good chance that they will not be signed into law. Those with companion bills in the Senate are not making headway, but Second Amendment supporters need to remain vigilant and continue to contact their representatives. Assembly Bill 193 on the Castle Doctrine did pass in the House and has good prospects for being signed, and Austin says that the state as a whole appears poised for a potential conservative resurgence.
