Wisconsin debates micro-stamping bill and the lost or stolen bill. Cam Edwards speaks with Wisconsin State Senator Glenn Grothman, who serves on the Senate Judiciary Committee and was present today for the hearing over S.B. 174 that would require micro-stamping technology to be implemented for all new handguns. Grothman says the hearing went well, but the best chance is for gun owners to let their legislators know that the issue is controversial so that it might not go to a vote. The senator also reports that S.B. 367, requiring that gun owners report lost or stolen firearms within 48 hours, will be heard in the next month.
