NRA Executive Vice President and CEO Wayne LaPierre appears in the studio with Ginny Simone to separate truth from fiction regarding the NRA's role in the DISCLOSE Act. Democrats in Congress have created an exemption for the NRA from the Act's burdensome campaign speech restrictions, and LaPierre explains that legislators "blinked" when they realized that the NRA had the power to defeat the bill. The NRA has a long tradition of fighting for free speech, but its first priority has to be to defending the Second Amendment. LaPierre says that the NRA "will not be silenced" and will make sure that the voices of its members are always heard. Originally aired 6/21/2010.
