NRA Executive Vice President and CEO Wayne LaPierre tells Cam Edwards that the controversy over the NRA's role in the DISCLOSE Act is part of a "knife fight" over who will possess the right to political speech during the upcoming elections. LaPierre explains that while the NRA opposes any restrictions on free speech, its primary obligation is to defend the Second Amendment that makes all of our other freedoms possible. The NRA did not ask for an exemption from the oppressive measures of the DISCLOSE Act, but its first priority is to make its voice heard and to represent its members in the struggle for firearms freedoms.
