The Washington State Patrol sent out a letter asking for help to find a missing or stolen rifle to gun dealers. The letter asked dealers for detailed information on any sale of AR-15s from July 1st of last year to the present. Gun owners and dealers were duly alarmed by this "fishing expedition" on the part of the state patrol, and the police have issued an apology. Ginny Simone speaks with Washington State Representative Matt Shea who says that he, along with 36 of his colleagues, are writing a letter to the governor to make sure this doesn't happen again.
