On this edition of Deal of the Day, Cam Edwards shares a story from West Seattle, Washington, where 49-year-old Monty Richardson pleaded guilty to first-degree burglary and second-degree assault for the brutal beating of his 65-year-old neighbor. Richardson broke into his neighbor's house, dragged the woman to the basement, and beat, stomped and kicked her breaking over 20 of her bones. Richardson entered a so-called Alford plea, in which he does not admit guilt but believes the evidence is likely to lead to a conviction. Originally aired 11/21/2011.
