Governor Robert McDonnell (R) of Virginia has signed the state's restaurant concealed carry bill into law, and the new law will take effect on July 1. Legislative Chairman of the Virginia Shooting Sports Association (VSSA) Dave Adams tells Ginny Simone that having the right governor in power meant victory after a 14-year struggle. He also applauds McDonnell for signing Senate Bill 408, which allows firearm owners without concealed-carry permits to store loaded guns in locked compartments in theirs automobiles or boats.
