In one of the busiest gun bill-heavy sessions since 2004, the Virginia legislature has seen many pro-gun bills already, and ten bills went before the House, the Senate or both today alone. Among them was a repeal of the restaurant carry ban and a bill allowing the transport of a firearm in a locked compartment of a vehicle or boat without the requirement of a concealed carry license. Both of these bills will head to Governor Bob McDonnell to be signed into law while other pro-gun bills will move to the other halves of the legislature. Dave Adams of the Virginia Shooting Sports Association (VSSA) discusses these developments with Ginny Simone.
