Cam Edwards speaks with Patrick McIlheran of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel about his article "Unions want to overturn election result." The article addresses the recent protests in the state, which have closed down schools, involved threats to public officials and caused several Democrat politicians to skip town to avoid doing their jobs. McIlhern says Governor Scott Walker's decision to limit unions' power over government spending "is not removing unions' fundamental power to bargain for wages. [Gov. Walker] is demanding that state workers put 5.8% of their wages toward retirement and that they cover 12.6% of their health care premiums, which would still have them paying more than $100 less a month than the average schmoe."
