Cam Edwards speaks with Howard Nemerov of Pajamas Media about his article "UN Ignores Its Own Data to Promote Gun Ban." Nemerov studied 145 countries comparing the numbers for civilian gun ownership to homicide and suicide rates and found that the numbers of the latter drop slightly with an increase in the former. In other words, more guns mean less crime deaths. As to the way the U.N. actually reports this data to say the opposite and push the gun ban agenda in the pending International Arms Trade Treaty, Nemerov says that corrupt governments are most prevalent in countries with low gun ownership-and they are the ones reporting the crime rates.
