United Nations meetings to discuss plans for an international arms-trade treaty got underway today in New York, and Ginny Simone is on the scene with Tom King of the World Forum on the Future of Sport Shooting Activities (WFSA) to provide ongoing coverage of the talks. King says that the NRA and the WFSA are two of only a few pro-gun groups present, while anti-gun nongovernmental organizations (NGOs) turned up in force to promote their agenda. He debunks rumors that the U.S. has already signed a treaty and explains that anti-gun activists find it easier to target the legally owned firearms of civilians than major illegal arms-trafficking operations.
