Texas State Senator Jeff Wentworth talks to Cam Edwards about the delay in the vote for the senate version of Campus Carry legislation that would allow law-abiding, concealed carry licensees over the age of 21 to carry their firearms on public college and university campuses. Wentworth explains that the Texas senate, comprised of 31 lawmakers, only requires 16 votes to pass a bill, but 21 votes are required to bring a bill to the floor in the first place. Going into the debate, there were 22 votes to bring the bill to the floor, but two senators changed their minds. Wentworth encourages gun owners to contact Senators Eddie Lucio of Brownsville and Mario Gallegos of Houston to voice their support for the bill. Originally aired 4/8/2011.
