The Assembly Public Safety Committee in California will review three pro-gun bills. Assembly Bill 2053 would clarify that the "good cause" stipulation in current state statutes for the issuance of concealed carry permits would apply to self-defense, defending the life of another, or preventing crime in which a human life is threatened. Assembly Bill 2115 would eliminate the "good cause" requirement for veterans. Assembly Bill 2152 would exempt honorably discharged members of the United States Armed Forces, National Guard, Air National Guard, and active reserve components of the United States from the handgun safety certificate requirements to purchase a handgun. NRA California State Liaison Ed Worley joins Cam Edwards to discuss these bills.
