NRA-ILA Tennessee State Liaison Heidi Keesling tells Ginny Simone that an amendment added to House Bill 3125 would compromise the restaurant carry measure. The amendment, which was drafted by the House Finance Ways and Means Committee, would continue to ban concealed carry in establishments that derive less than half of their gross sales from food. This change would severely restrict the right to bear arms, and Keesling points out that the language in the amendment is vague and open to interpretation. She urges Tennessee voters to contact their representatives and ensure that House Bill 3125 passes in its original form.
