On tonight's Civil Rights Roundup, NRA Deputy General Counsel Stefan Tahmassebi talks to Cam Edwards about the US Supreme Court's ruling in US v. Stevens. At issue was a federal law restricting depictions of so-called "animal cruelty," defined broadly as images of violence to animals, including hunting. Defendant Robert Stevens was sentenced to more than three years in a federal prison for using archival footage of dog fighting in a film series on pit bulls. The Third Circuit Court of Appeals overturned his jail sentence, and now the Supreme Court has declared the law to be in violation of the First Amendment.
