On February 13, 2011, Switzerland will vote on a measure that would ban army-issue firearms as well as privately owned firearms for the Swiss people. Cam Edwards speaks with Attorney Steve Halbrook who explains that, if the measure passes, the country would be overturning a tradition of freedom that has been established and preserved over hundreds of years. He also tells Edwards that American Revolutionaries actually modeled the Second Amendment after the Swiss example since the country was, at the time, the freest in Europe because their people were armed.
