On tonight's Civil Rights Roundup, NRA Deputy General Counsel Stefan Tahmassebi tells Cam Edwards that the US Supreme Court refused to hear Ileto v. Glock, the latest in a series of spurious lawsuits against firearms manufacturers. The NRA has already been successful in passing legislation preventing most cases like this from being filed in the future. The suit was based on holding gun manufacturers responsible for the 1999 murder of Joseph Ileto by white supremacist Buford Furrow. Tahmassebi explains that by targeting manufacturers, anti-gun activists sought to eliminate the supply of firearms and take away citizens' ability to bear arms. Originally aired 5/26/2010.
