Listening to New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg and his anti-gun coalition, one might think that firearms violence is the most rampant, prominent cause of death in NYC. However, a new study by the Drum Major Institute for Public Policy reveals that more people have died in car accidents in NYC than from firearms violence in the past 10 years. Cam Edwards speaks with Tom King, President of the New York State Rifle & Pistol Association, who speculates that perhaps Bloomberg and his cronies should campaign against cars or doctors since accidents and medical mistakes cause more deaths each year in most of the country than do guns.
