Nordyke v. King was initially a lawsuit brought by the Nordykes, a family who runs many of the major gun show events in California. The suit challenges a law passed in Alameda County banning guns, and by extension gun shows, on county property. With the McDonald v. Chicago decision recently in place, the Nordyke case has far-reaching implications. John Popp and Cameron Gray speak with Attorney Steve Halbrook who says that if Alameda County is allowed to retain the ban, then any place across the country is in danger of having guns banned from the premises despite the McDonald ruling.
