Cam Edwards speaks with Second Amendment Attorney and Scholar Steve Halbrook on the 5th anniversary of Hurricane Katrina. Halbrook talks about the horrifying actions of the officers who confiscated New Orleans citizens' legally-owned guns when they needed them most and the NRA's swift action in filing an injunction to stop this terrible infringement of Second Amendment rights. He also notes that a judge at the time ruled that the Second Amendment was an individual right that applied to the states two years before the Heller decision was even handed down-much less McDonald. Unfortunately, however, most of the confiscated firearms have still not been returned to their rightful owners. Originally aired 7/30/2010.
