NRA Manager of Hunting Policy Darren LaSorte addresses hunters at SHOT Show 2011 at the Sands Expo & Convention Center in Las Vegas, Nevada. LaSorte discusses several ways the NRA is fighting to preserve hunting traditions for the next generation including reducing minimum age requirements, creating more apprentice hunting programs and reforming regulations so that hunters have more opportunity and choice in the field. Most importantly, LaSorte talks about lifting old "Sunday Blue Laws" in Connecticut, Delaware, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Virginia and West Virginia where there are dated restrictions and prohibitions that bar hunting on Sundays.
