Director and actor chase thieves, and man kills attacker. On today's Hero of the Day, Cam Edwards reports on two stories, one of which comes from a Shakespeare performance in Westerly, Rhode Island. The play's director and an actor chased two men who stole their donation jars and forcefully apprehended one of them, and Edwards questions whether they would have supported gun owners in likewise taking the law into their own hands. The other story is from Palestine, Texas, where Alton Ray Hassell, 54, was shot and killed by Howard Miller, 64. Hassell is said to have had violent tendencies and a long-running vendetta against the Miller family.
