On this edition of the Civil Rights Round Up, NRA Deputy General Council Stefan Tahmassebi discusses Chan v. City of Seattle, a case challenging the constitutionality of the city's gun ban that was initiated by Former Mayor Greg Nickels and continued by Mayor Mike McGinn. A King County Superior Court judge ruled that the city of Seattle ban on guns on city property is illegal, effectively ending the ban. Tahmassebi explains that this recent win for the Second Amendment was due to state preemption laws that protect citizens from locally imposed gun control.
