On this edition of Civil Rights Roundup, Cam Edwards speaks with NRA Deputy General Counsel Stefan Tahmassebi about Students For Concealed Carry On Campus (SCCC) v. Regents Of The University Of Colorado. In the case, Tahmassebi explains that the university is trying to uphold a firearms ban on campus that began in 1994 even though the 2003 Concealed Carry Act in Colorado ensured a statewide policy for concealed carry permit holders. The University of Colorado is a state university meaning that it should be under the same jurisdiction and laws on this issue as the state, so the campus gun ban in question is illegal.
