A brief filed with the Supreme Court by the U.S. Solicitor General and reported on SCOTUS Blog suggests that more restrictions on Second Amendment rights outside of the home might be upheld in court. Second Amendment attorney and scholar Steve Halbrook talks with Cam Edwards about Masciandaro v. US, in which Sean Masciandaro was convicted and fined $150 for having a loaded gun in his car while parked in a national park. The Masciandaro case shows how the courts are still trying to limit the right of gun owners to defend themselves beyond their front doors. Originally aired 10/20/11.
