While there is no crisis yet, Darren LaSorte, NRA Manager of Hunting Policy, says now is the time for states to pass Right to Hunt Amendments to protect the tradition from animal rights activist groups who would ban hunting and outdoor sports. The NRA and gun owners are the driving force behind these amendments, having passed the "model language" in 2008 for Oklahoma. On the 2010 ballots, Tennessee, Arizona, Arkansas and South Carolina will have similar measures presented to voters. Originally aired 9/3/2010.
