The current law in Nebraska regarding a citizen's right to self-defense is by many accounts "vague and confusing." Ginny Simone speaks with Sen. Mark Christensen who will be tackling this issue in 2011 with a version of the Castle Doctrine Bill. Christensen explains that his efforts are not necessarily about guns so much as ensuring that law abiding citizens have a means of protecting themselves without fear of retribution when they use force, including deadly force, to defend themselves in their home, workplace or vehicle.
