Legislative Chairman for the Virginia Shooting Sports Association (VSSA) Dave Adams talks to Cam Edwards about the passage of restaurant concealed carry in the state. The new law, which goes into effect on July 1, allows concealed-carry permit holders to carry in restaurants that serve alcohol. Adams disputes claims from anti-gun activists that the law will lead to an increase in violence, noting that concealed carry measures have actually decreased violence and that drinking while carrying a concealed weapon in a restaurant is still against the law.
