Tennessee State Senator Douglas Jackson (D-25) talks to Cam Edwards about the effort to override the veto of Senate Bill 3012 by Governor Phil Bredesen (D). Jackson says that restaurant carry, which SB 3012 would re-introduce, is only controversial in Tennessee because of how it is portrayed in the media. He says that Bredesen never communicated with supporters of the bill or tried to compromise, so overriding the veto is the only option remaining to friends of the Second Amendment.
