H.R. 822, legislation that would allow millions of right-to-carry permit holders to exercise their right to self-defense while travelling outside of their home states, was heard today in a House subcommittee. The National Right-to-Carry Reciprocity Act would create a reciprocal system of recognition of other states' concealed carry licenses. Ginny Simone speaks with Congressman Trey Gowdy, a member of the subcommittee, who says the Second Amendment ought to be afforded the same measure of respect as the other amendments, and that is the issue at hand. Originally aired 9/13/2011.
