The city's ban disproportionately affects the black population. Cam Edwards speaks with Austin Gun Rights Examiner Howard Nemerov about his recent article discussing the racist consequences, be they intentional or unintentional, of Chicago's gun ban. Nemerov says that while only 37 percent of the city's population is made up of black people, 75 percent of the murders in the city each year are committed against the black population. This demographic is therefore especially hindered by laws that prohibit self-defense.
