A public comment period has been initiated for now through October 15, 2010 for a proposal by the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service to open up seven national wildlife refuges in Texas, California, New Jersey, Nebraska, Oklahoma, New Mexico and Minnesota to hunting. Cam Edwards speaks with J.R. Robbins, Manager of the NRA Hunting Communications Department, about how hunters can get involved. He explains that animal rights activists will certainly be lobbying against the proposal, and it is up to gun owners to make their support for the proposition known. Originally aired 9/28/2010.
