President of the Virginia Shooting Sports Association (VSSA) Dave Adams talks to Ginny Simone about the major pro-gun measures which passed in the state this session, including a restaurant carry bill and a bill protecting storage of firearms in locked cars on company property. Unfortunately, most other pro-gun bills fell victim to dirty politics, as Senator Henry Marsh (D-16) formed a special subcommittee stacked with anti-gun senators for the purpose of hearing firearms-related bills. While the legality of Marsh's actions is under investigation, Adams says that gun owners have won a 14-year battle to reverse Virginia's restaurant carry ban, and the next legislative session will see the return of the bills that died this year.
