The Texas legislature only meets every other year, and in the last session, the clock ran out on a Campus Carry Bill that would have given licensees the right to defend themselves at colleges and universities in the state. This year, Representative-Elect David Simpson from Longview, TX has already pre-filed House Bill 86 for campus carry. Cam Edwards speaks with Alice Tripp of the Texas State Rifle Association who says this is only one example of the pro-gun activity that is already heating up for the 2011 legislative session among newly elected lawmakers.
