A number of pro- and anti-gun bills are on the agenda for this year's legislative session in Delaware, and a couple of them are being heard before the House Judiciary Committee. Cam Edwards speaks with John Thompson, President of the Delaware State Sportsmen's Association, about these two bills. House Bill 46 is the governor's attempt to shortcut to destroying firearms that are left in the possession of the police. Thompson says gun owners should contact lawmakers to amend the bill and ensure that every effort is made to return this property before it is destroyed. House Bill 48 regards the National Instant Check System and would share mental health records as well as eliminate the Delaware Record Check. Originally aired 4/4/2011.
