A recent article in pro-gun blog Snowflakes in Hell posted a picture of a Primanti Bros. cook wearing a Mayors Against Illegal Guns (MAIG) t-shirt with a couple of MAIG advocates behind the counter with him. The famous Pittsburgh sandwich shop was thus mistakenly branded as anti-gun, and 2011 Annual Meetings attendees were told to steer clear. However, Mark Teklinski, Director of Operations for Primanti Bros., tells Cam Edwards that his employees pose for pictures with customers all the time-not necessarily to endorse the subjects. Teklinksi says that gun owners are more than welcome in Primanti Bros. shops and also says his employees would probably be just as happy to pose in NRA shirts if someone brings them into the shop.
