The organization has decided to be involved in U.S. v. Stevens. Laurie Lee Dovey, executive director of the Professional Outdoor Media Association (POMA), speaks with Cam Edwards about her organization's decision to fight for the First Amendment as the Supreme Court rehears this case. In the original trial, Robert Stevens of Virginia was convicted of felony charges and sentenced to three years in federal prison for selling two documentary films and one hunting film he crafted about pit bull dogs. The High Court's decision will have strong implications for both the First and Second Amendment.
