The president of the Brady Center to Prevent Gun Violence speaks to the press immediately following today's oral arguments in the McDonald v. City of Chicago Supreme Court case. Cam Edwards rolls the clip and clarifies some of the points from Helmke's deceptive spin on the situation. Helmke argues that the Second Amendment only guarantees that people should be able to have guns in their homes for self-defense and that any rights beyond that should be regulated by elected officials. He also seems very prematurely certain that Chicago's handgun ban will not hold in this trial.
