NRA-ILA California State Liaison Ed Worley joins Cam Edwards to discuss three important pieces of firearms legislation scheduled to be heard in Sacramento next week. Senate Bill 1179 will go before the Assembly Water, Parks and Wildlife Committee and would require the Department of Fish and Game to establish two free hunting days per year during which unlicensed hunters can try their hands at hunting so long as they are accompanied by a licensee. Also up next week, Assembly Bill 1934 outlawing the open carrying of an unloaded handgun for self-defense will head to the Senate Appropriations Committee, and Assembly Bill 2223 banning lead shot will be reconsidered by the Senate Natural Resources Committee.
