75% of Oklahoma high school students cannot name first president. On tonight's History File, Cam Edwards discusses a disturbing story from Oklahoma where a survey of public high school students revealed an appalling degree of civil ignorance in the state. In a survey conducted by Strategic Vision, a national research firm, in which students were asked ten questions directly from the U.S. Citizenship test, only 3 percent of the 1,000 students in the study would have qualified as U.S. citizens, and only one in four students could name the first president.
