Senate Bill 239 has had a third hearing before the Ohio Senate Judiciary – Criminal Justice Committee. This legislation would allow licensed concealed-carry holders the right to carry in restaurants that serve alcohol so long as they are not consuming alcohol and would reduce burdensome restrictions concerning the transport of firearms in personal vehicles. Linda Walker of the Buckeye Firearms Association discusses the recent hearing and the testimony of Suzanna Gratia Hupp who voiced her support of the bill as a former victim of a restaurant shooting.
