Ohio House Bill 45, that would allow Ohio residents who hold a valid concealed handgun license to carry in restaurants that serve alcohol and reduce restrictions regarding how a license holder must transport a firearm in a car, had its third hearing today. Last year Restaurant Carry legislation was passed through the Senate with strong bipartisan support but was not brought to a vote in the House before the session ran out. Cam Edwards speaks with Linda Walker of the Buckeye Firearms Association who says this year they are running this legislation both in the House and in the Senate and expect the bill to be successful.
