Grassroots response from gun owners kept "A" at bay for now. President of the New York State Rifle & Pistol Association (NYSRPA) Tom King tells Cam Edwards that the Albany County Law Committee has postponed Local Law "A," an ordinance that would require valid firearms licenses to be shown in ammunition transactions and mandate that retailers keep detailed records of all ammunition sales, including the type, caliber and quantity of the bullets, the make, model and serial number of the firearms that are being supplied and also the purchasers' names and addresses for every transaction.
