Second Circuit Court of Appeals rules due process was violated. In a post-9/11 security crackdown by the New York Police Department, Angela Spinelli found her Bronx gun shop under a search and seizure that lead to the confiscation of her entire firearms inventory and the suspension of her dealer's license. The court has ruled in her favor, conceding that her constitutional right to due process was violated in the transaction. Ginny Simone talks to Tom King, president of the New York State Rifle and Pistol Association (NYSRPA) about how the ruling reflects a post-Sotomayor shift in the court's generally anti-gun track record.
