Despite constant reassurances from Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano that the U.S.-Mexico Border is "safe and secure," the numbers continue to reflect dramatically different realities. According to a recent report from the sheriff's department in Pinal County, Arizona, there have been big increases in the amount of drugs seized, in the number of vehicle pursuits, and calls for the U.S. Border to investigate crimes committed by illegal immigrants over the last four years. Ginny Simone speaks with Pinal County Sheriff Paul Babeu who says that regardless of what Napolitano claims, more and more evidence shows the border is FAR from secure. Originally aired 1/5/2011.
