On this edition of The McCarville Minute, Second Amendment activist and blogger Mike McCarville talks about the NRA Political Victory Fund (NRA-PVF), candidate ratings and endorsement criteria. The NRA endorses and grades candidates based on a nonpartisan assessment of their stance on gun-related issues with a priority for pro-gun incumbents. A grade of A-F is awarded based on voting records, campaign literature, candidate statements, interviews and intelligence from NRA members. NRA-PVF Endorsements must be earned above and beyond this and are not awarded for every race. Additional factors such as a candidate's viability and campaign organization are also considered.
