Peruta v. San Diego is a case challenging the fact that the county sheriff's office does not recognize self-defense as a legitimate reason for a person to be issued a concealed-carry license. The NRA and the California Rifle and Pistol Association (CRPA) have filed an opening brief in the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals for the case. Cam Edwards speaks with Attorney Chuck Michel who explains why these carry permit policies are unconstitutional. Originally aired 5/25/2011.
